From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

i actually don't care that much about windows and i'm trying to fully transition to linux rn. i have not got any problem with 4070 yet and i'm just thinking about it.
Yeah, my answer was worded badly. The 7900 XTX is in use on a Linux system since day 1 and the experience is flawless now.
i think imma keep the 4070 for now. i didn't saw any hiccups and i don't want to deal with changing gpus. my next gpu is gonna be top of the line amd in future tho
