That's what I heard Neytaniahu sold on his election campaign: to take Gaza for Israel, and that's what his voters are demanding from him
But that's what Israeli wants..they will vote on someone who can fullfil the same promise
They've been protesting against him because he violated their security and democracy, not because he's committing genocide. 80% of them (including 88% of Jewish Israelis) are perfectly fine with that part.
I mean I'm quoting numbers from two weeks ago. I'd love to think that the number of people who support genocide in Israel is less than that, but you can't argue with evidence.
They don't need to say it (mostly because nobody is asking that question). Two questions that were asked is "Is the number of deaths in Gaza justified by the war" and "do you think Israel is using adequate or too little force in Gaza". And apparently 88% of Israeli jews think the answer is yes for the former, and 94% think so for the latter. Similarly, only 27% of Israeli Jews support a two-state solution, while 38% think Israel should annex the West Bank with limited Palestinian rights (admittedly I thought this one would be higher).

There are tons of US media reporting on protests in Israel against Netanyahu (not all of which are against his policies, of course), but regardless of protests there is a reason he's been reelected so many times, and it's that the progressive Jewish Left in Israel is massively outnumbered by the hardliner ultranationalist and religious Right.
There are huge protests in SF for movements like Land Back (which just last month worked with Berkeleyto return burial land to the Ohlone peoples), but that doesn't mean even 1% of the US is on board with it.
This is new for me. I know they are against his methods, but for his goals of taking territory.
Could you show me a source so I can learn that I was mistaken? Thanks
While they have to support their claim that people are protesting, you also have burden of proof for claiming netanyahu made gaza a campaign promise.
From his reelection in 2022:

yes, this counts.
