It appears you can change the scheduler on the fly so I will definitely try it.

(e)BPF's sched_ext allows dynamically loading schedulers from user space, yes.

You do need a kernel with the sched-ext kernel option. Trying to install it right now.

Which version was that introduced in? 6.9?

It's not in the mainline, you need to either install the cachyos repo or compile the kernel with patches.
