Calling out the Fed is neat. But this is a lower mainland problem, and going to dad for cash is kinda arrogant; like the Fed doesn't have better things affecting the entire country to spend on.
I'd rather we somehow get the BC transport ministry to have their guys do maintenance. A little more likely, little more pertinent, but just as arrogant.
If we want trains, we need to pay. If we want reliable and accessible trains, we need to remove user-pay scams.
This leaves property tax, and some levy based on calculated roadway maintenance that trains will eliminate.
Land-hoarding bungalow chads don't want to pay more property tax.
Now what?
