TLDR - they don't want a transition from combustion engines to electric cars. They are saying building electric cars is bad for the environment.

It's not really targeted at Tesla - what they want is for everyone to start using public transport/etc.

And they protest in Germany, the economy that's built on producing cars and who would happily keep producing more ICE BMWs. The same country that sees speed limits on the Autobahn as sacrilege.

Also the country that still predominantly runs on coal for its power grid… one would think they have bigger fish to fry. EVs are a net positive after about 40’000km compared to ICE Cars. (Even faster depending on the source of charging)
