Where are you at getting them already? I just planted 6, 1 of them was legacy and the grower told me it's a late season variety. Even my early still growing flowers.
I’m in the PNW! I am also very surprised to see them so early… I thought they would be ready closer to like end of July. We have lots of very happy bees around our neighborhood and my neighbors also grow lots of fruits, so maybe that helped?
Your soil must be the perfect acidity. Mine is so alkaline still but I can grow monster flowers :)
I really lucked out with the soil in our yard! I can grow basically anything as long as I feed it some coffee grounds once a week-ish
