Do you think this fediverse-analogy is any good for telling people about the fediverse?

I find this drawn out analogy condescending, people aren't that stupid and federation is not that hard to explain.
Condescending to whom?
Edit: ok, in my circle, people have problems to understand federation and what's actually the merits of it in a practical sense. If you only know people that understand it quickly anyways, don't send it to them
