Should we consider !privacy@lemmy.ca the reference?

4 months later, situation is pretty much the same. Lemmy.one might really disappear overnight, I might do a post about it over there, but we probably don't have a definitive alternative.

If !privacy@lemmy.ca has active mods, that's probably better.

I just checked the programming.dev one, there were two devs: one admin, and one which hasn't been active for a year
