Conceptually a really fun game reminiscent of the original splinter cell where both stealth and shootouts are viable

But holy crap is it just a mean spirited game. Strongly encourage just ignoring cutscenes and plot.

Yeah, I picked it up a while back because it seemed like a fun throwback to some older games I liked. But wow, wow, the cruelty of the plot had me uninstalling quick.

tldr You're a vigilante murdering homeless drug addicts (who fight back like video game monsters because heroin apparently makes you into a psycho.)

Yeah. Encounter design is shockingly good. Even if it makes the mistake of a topdown view for line of sight stealth in large open areas.

But every single second of plot is "So... THIS is the kid that DARE actually worked on" and I am kind of just waiting for the devs to say some heinous shit online (probably already happened, to be honest...).
