“BD” refers to Franco-Belgian comics, but let's open things up to include ALL Euro comics and GN's. Euro-style work from around the world is also welcome!

* BD = "Bandes dessinées"
* BDT = Bedetheque
* GN = graphic novel
* LBK = Lambiek
* LC = "Ligne claire"

My unread pile has now reached 30 graphic novels (roughly half are European, the rest are mostly American but not only).

I have been in a shopping spree during August but now it is time to stop as this pile should last me for a while. I hope. :)

Wow, I just reviewed Centaurus & Mssr Jean in the past week, and I remember we also talked about "Mutations." Some nice series there.

I have a lot of respect for Jean Dufaux, and found Ballad of the Lost Moors a good read. I did get temporarily confused in book five, because that's when the series suddenly pivots to a pre-history IIRC.

Btw, if it's just the one image you're sharing, you can copy the image URL directly (not the Imgur page) and edit that in to your post URL. That way Lemmy will create a thumbnail that can be clicked on to pop up. I've found that tends to get more views and reaction from readers.

You are right, I should have done that. I cannot edit the post now but let's see if can at least manage to post the image here.

EDIT: Linked, but not preloaded by Lemmy... I guess it doesn't work on comments. I hope our ability to upload directly to Lemmy is restored soon.

Strange. I thought a post-creator could edit their post at any time, including title, URL, etc. Could it be only if you're a mod? NOTE: even as a mod and community-creator I'm not allowed to edit anyone else's posts & comments.

Linked, but not preloaded by Lemmy… I guess it doesn’t work on comments.

Formatting for that is like this: ![Image](https://i.imgur.com/1DoDWIU.jpg)
