For this movie, no it isn't. Joker (2019) opened at $96 million, and critical response was stellar. It also had a budget of only $55 million, so it didn't need much to make a profit.

This one has a budget of $200 million, so it will need to make at least $500 million at the box office to break even. But compared to the first movie, the reviews aren't looking so good.
