Why is Contrapoints getting so much hate? (lemm.ee)

I saw someone say it was because she's supporting dems but that doesn't seem like enough for the amount of dunking I've seen. Did y'all think she was so far to the left that that would be a betrayal? I've typically thought of her as a progressive more than a leftist. Is there some statement she made I'm not aware of?

Homie, I don't even know who that is. I've not seen anyone talking about them on lemmy or mastodon yet (haven't scrolled much today so far though).

Gotta remember, the kind of crowd you're asking questions to here is going to run heavy to people that don't pay attention to the kind of person that's not known by anything but their user name on whatever it is, if they aren't hugely well known.

Do you have any links to help people that might be willing to try and figure out an answer despite not knowing who it is?

She's a very popular longform video essayist.

She's also trans, so I assume any undeserved hate stems from that.
