Minecraft has had hardcore mode for years

Bad headline. They mean finally adding Hardcore to Bedrock Edition^*

*Bedrock had Hardcore already, but marked as a experimental feature, probably to save MSFT from the players' rage when they inevitably die to a glitch on that buggy mess of a edition.
Guess they finally fixed it up enough to mark it stable? Doubt it.

Ew gross, they need to drop that bedrock nonsense already.

I wish, no way they're dropping their microtransaction cash cow

i don't. i have a lot of friends that play bedrock and I'd like to continue playing with them.

most people who play bedrock don't even use the micro transactions. stop blaming people for the shit corporations do.

most people who play bedrock just... play minecraft. super awful. i know. /s

edit: ahhh the toxicity of the java players is quite predictable =)
