Young black bear! Juveniles have rounded Mickey Mouse ears, so I'm not sure about this guy/girl. A bit small for an adult? Not seeing tracks, but there are dozens of small, disturbed spots where I suspect he was poking his nose in the leaf litter.

Also grabbed a pileated woodpecker, the Woody Woodpecker sort. Saw one while sitting at my table one day (holy shit they're bigger than I thought!), immediately hung a suet feeder. First batch rotted before anyone ate it. Put the last load in a month ago and it's all gone! I think they've found me.

I got so far: pooping fox, deer showing its butt every time and magpies. Every November a brown bear comes to hibernate 50meters behind our kennels and walks in that area every night, but so far avoided the camera. Last time I went there, there was a huge deer just standing close behind the camera, staring at me while I was finding that no, there was no wildlife here in the past week...
