US Muslim leaders who supported Republican Donald Trump to protest against the Biden administration’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza and attacks on Lebanon have been deeply disappointed by his cabinet picks, they tell Reuters.

“Trump won because of us and we’re not happy with his Secretary of State pick and others,” says Rabiul Chowdhury, a Philadelphia investor who chaired the Abandon Harris campaign in Pennsylvania and co-founded Muslims for Trump. Muslim support for Trump helped him win Michigan and may have factored into other swing state wins, strategists believe.

I never said ANY OF THAT.

Get those windmills, Quixote.

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 0 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

Denying that you're guilty of that libshit doesn't make it any more tempting for anyone to vote democrat, and I say that as someone who voted for harris

[–] ChronosTriggerWarning@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

The fuck are you even talking about? What "libshit" am i denying..?

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

So democrats should have done more to appeal to Muslim voters to make sure they don't vote for trump? Bc it sounds like you think it's Muslims fault not voting for their own eradication, rather than democrats fault for not promising to not eradicate them. And since you think they're stupid, it really sounds like you just don't think democrats should give any shits about Muslims, since they're just stupid trump supporters anyway

So democrats should have done more to appeal to Muslim voters to make sure they don’t vote for trump?

I'd say yeah. Fucking A.

Bc it sounds like you think it’s Muslims fault not voting for their own eradication, rather than democrats fault for not promising to not eradicate them.

Source, please.

And since you think they’re stupid, it really sounds like you just don’t think democrats should give any shits about Muslims, since they’re just stupid trump supporters anyway

I'm ChronosTriggerWarning, and I do not approve this message.

I'm gonna need some links of me saying this shit you're yelling at me for saying....

I'm of two minds: you've confused me for someone else's comment OR you've misunderstood, badly, something I've said.

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 1 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

"I'd say yeah. Fucking A" then what is even your point here? If you know Biden and Harris ran a shit campaign where they did nowhere near enough to appeal to Muslims, then why are you even here?

I'll post this again, since you clearly didn't see it when you posted it or when I showed it to you last

Calling people you disagree with stupid is an absolute shit way to get support. Again, if you think dems should be doing more to appeal to people other than the right, why in the fuck are you shitting on people who also think that? Acting like it's everyone else's fault you lost is gonna make everyone else laugh at you and never vote for your guys.

So I guess this is just a dead end of a conversation cx you're not gonna admit you and other liberals have a superiority complex over non-libs, and I'm not gonna accept that shitting on potential blue voters is the proper way to court them. Have a nice day, from the river to the sea 🇵🇸

Ok. I don't argue with children. Especially when they need a nap. You were entertaining, but this has grown tiring. Off to Ban Land with ye.

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 0 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

This is how you view non-liberals. This is the libshit I'm talking about. Are you gonna tell me some bullshit about how you're actually only talking about specifically the Muslims that voted for trump? Bc if that's the case, then surely you support more outreach and more good faith attempts to get Muslims to support democrats, rather than just calling them stupid, right?

[–] ChronosTriggerWarning@lemmy.world 0 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

🙄

Wow. Cool. It's neither A, nor B. It's C: misconstrue. I guess Quixote was a prophetic nickname.

Now tell me what i think of liberals. And Christians. And Pacific Islanders. And black paraplegic Jewish Eskimo rodeo clowns... Because if you think that I'm lumping any demographic into that statement outside of stupid people, then you are exactly who I'm talking about.

There's a difference between ignorant and stupid. I prefer ignorance. It's just a lack of exposure to something, and it's easily cured. Stupid is stupid is stupid. It doesn't care about your race or gender or personal identity. Neither do i.

Are you a Muslim Trump voter? If not, then I'll wait for a Muslim Trump voter to call me out for the offense I've given.

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 1 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

I'm not lumping in jack shit buddy, you're just backtracking on the stupid Islamophobic shit you've been saying and backing up here. Again, since you seem to have a blind spot for your own comments

Again, if you're only talking about Muslims that voted trump, make that actually fucking clear instead of just saying Muslims are stupid and not worth appealing to (or "teaching", as you say since you're so much smarter than those savages)

[–] ChronosTriggerWarning@lemmy.world 1 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

I never said Muslims are stupid. I never actually said Muslim voters for trump are stupid (though i do think that.) I clarified that someone else said Muslim Trump voters are stupid, not Muslims are stupid. This whole crusade (pun definitely intended) you've gone on is completely misdirected, and kinda adorable. You're just virtue signaling so hard.

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I agree that Muslim trump voters are stupid. And sure, you never said Muslims are stupid, but that's sure as fuck how your "teaching a fish to ride a unicycle" spiel came across. You're opposing the idea of trying to teach people to recognize scams, bc they're so stupid there's no point in trying. If the "they" you're talking about is just Muslim trump voters, try actually saying that instead of just implying something more bigoted and acting superior when someone interprets bigoted looking garbage as bigoted garbage. And just in general, try not being a self righteous asshat just bc someone doesn't 100% tow the liberal line, bc you and your buddies are really really bad for that, and again, it loses you voters and gains you nothing. But what do I know? I'm just some stupid leftie, not an ascended liberal white savior like your highness

[–] Jiggle_Physics@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago) (1 children)

In a conversation about muslims who voted for trump, calling "them" stupid is calling muslims who voted for trump stupid, because muslims who voted for trump are the subject. Since you agree with that, it is your poor reading comprehension that is at fault. You abandoned the context of the "who voted for trump" qualifier and went off on a rant about bigotry.

Why did you ignore the subject of the conversation, you know, the context, so you could go off on a rant about how elitist, and bigoted, libs are? That is the only way you could have come to the conclusion you did. You have to ignore that the subject of the conversation is not muslims but muslims + who voted for trump. This is on you. You are the one in the wrong.

[–] EndlessApollo@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Oop good point about the article, I forgot the comments I've been replying to have been on an article specifically about Muslim trump voters. Sorry, that was dumb and I should've paid attention to that in the first place

[–] Jiggle_Physics@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

Hey, it happens, as long as you can look back at yourself and realize it, it's cool. Everyone struggles with this shit, I know I have a big issue with it myself.
