You're saying people in their 60s to 70s are boomers, which is exactly the same as what I just said. Also, the pun was fine but the boomer meme as a whole is just awful.

TNG aired from 1987 to 1994.
Boomers were born between 1946 to 1964.

The boomers were between about 41 to 23 when TNG started.
They were about 48 to 30 when it ended.

Baby boomers were safely adults through the whole run.
