Fun fact: they changed their logo two years ago, but nobody noticed, and everyone is still using the old one

rebrand fail, when the old logo was so unique that everyone knew it, but the new one it's too bland and unrecognizable

I haven’t seen anyone using their old logo. All the articles and thumbnails use the new one

Edit: I was wrong, clearly the old logo is still being used! It’s not as far as the original reply indicated though, I’ve still seen a majority using the new logo (unless your primary metric is thumbnails on lemmy)

You mean the opposite?

Go to watch all the articles on the verge, Engadget, the videos posted on this subreddit, they all had the old logo. This post is also using the old logo

I do see that the verge used the old logo at least once (but it’s been a majority the new logo) and engadget has been a mix, but all the YouTube coverage I looked up had the new logo 🤷‍♂️ I guess it is a mix!
