It's not that it sounds bad, but NIN's Hurt has that loud af riff that I have to prepare my ears for every time

Adore NiN and especially that song. Had the good fortune to see the Dissonance Tour and let me tell you hearing it sung with David Bowie was just otherworldly lol. Great video from one of the shows in on YT if you have not heard it. Seeing Trent smile like a nut while they sing it is alone is worth the click.
