It's never, "hey we're going to stop running our giant planet-killing industrial plants," it's, "we're just going to tell you to use your sink less and buy a new machine from us and then the planet will be cool."
There are these TV commercials about dishwasher soap lately, telling you to use them as often as you want because they use less water than washing dishes in the sink.
