And the guy who said it, Fatih Birol used to work for a large oil profiteering company?
Difference between weather and climate....
Also the IEA is running the strategic oil reserves of the West, so they tend to be somewhat pro fossil fuels and have a long history of massivly underestimating renewables growth.
