Because when the Knight of the Long Knife 2: Electric Boogaloo hits, the people talking about communists being fascists will be marching, arm-in-arm with the actual fascists. It's really a genius con when you stop to think about it, in theory, we'd never see it coming if it wasn't already materially predicted and observed.
