Honestly, I re-read that a few times after posting it because it really looks sarcastic 😂 I wasn't being sarcastic though, I do agree with you and I've seen it a lot on here -- for some reason, people are eager to jump to excusing people for their own poor, harmful, negative, and cruel choices in favour of blaming something bigger. It's weird.
Yeah, that staggers me to this day. I hate this thought, but it seems to me that most people on the planet will rather do the equilibristics and put their heads way up their own asses than acknowledge a simple fact: "I am here because of the choices I made". Whatever nuances, "good"/"bad" assesments etc - they all come after this basis. But noo, let's pretend that if it were not for , things would ~~be~~ have been better
