I've heard of Ente, it's made in the US, but you can self-host it and it's encrypted
Thank you. To be honest I don't have time for self hosting, I'd prefer a commercial service. Ideally a service that offers mail, calendar and some kind of remote drive too.
Then you’ll probably want both the Proton suite (or similar) and Ente
