That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

from what ive seen the bans are so arbitrary, you dont even know what your being ban for, if you havnt violated any TOS rules. it could be a Subreddits filtering removing your comments triggering a ban. other things is if your using a VPN sometimes gets you flagged. but these 2 things are still ridiculous to result in a sitewide ban, shadowban is just as serious as a sitewide ban. its for these recent purges to be exact, so many occurred in FEB-MARCH.
alot of people are banned for evasion attempt, even that is kinda crazy too, usually they just perma-ban you from the sub, if you use another new acct to comment that of course will site wide ban you. but what they did is, temp ban some people then banned all thier accounts for ban evasion, retroactive bans, for example your temp ban was in a sub, and then it finds all your other accounts that commented previously in one or more subs they were banned in before with other accounts.
I saw i had a proxy IP but I can't even help that because it's automatic and I have no idea how to change it. I'm tech illiterate. I know some places will ban you for a proxy. I've gotten that accusation before on a forum and I knew nothing about proxy IP. I only guessed that assumption came from me moving house 5 times in 1 year because I was a young adult. My parents, my own, my aunt and uncles, my ex, then my apartment and we have had to change internet providers a few times for cost. But the mods used that as a scapegoat to blame other issues in me other users did I didn't do, especially when I got impersonated. Sorry for living lol. Humans move you know and access the internet wherever. Some people use a paid vpn to keep their IP consistent because they access the internet all over because they travel a lot for work.
Maybe I was banned for my proxy UP, who knows. I never ban evaded. I never created a new account to evade a ban. Both my accounts existed before the ban wave. I take website policies seriously. If I am so butthurt by someone, I block them and move on than following them and commenting on their posts or getting into petty arguements.
some proxies reddit can detect easily, datacenter proxies, cheap free proxies are instantly detected and you do get shadowbanned down the line. from another site, you have to use residential/mobile proxies with a different device on its own ip/data plan, also anti-detect browsers, a browser that lets you open an instance of a browser. these are mainly for people who can pay for these services, as they are earning income by posting on reddit(in large numbers).
