I never see many talk about planetside 2, so i thought i'd make an account and ask if there are any planetside 2 players out there on lemmy. What faction do you play? whats your favorite class? Vehicle? What do you enjoy most about the game?

I'm also looking for people to play with possibly. But im mostly curious what other linux users play in planetside 2.

The unlocks progress now much faster and there's little to no power behind paywall. Come and say hi again 😉

oh thats why it doesn't feel as P2W as people say it is. it has felt far less grindy than years ago, i think the main grind is in implants now. which suck to grind, but i've gotten a few infantries kitted out, not sure if ill get to vehicles. i still sub, but there are some things about sub i definitely don't like, nanite regen has to go, everyone should get a boost or the nanite regen should be removed, but im not sure as many would sub if nanite regen wasn't a thing with sub, which might kill the game faster. i feel pretty mixed on it. esp with how uncertain the future is rn for the game.
