If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. As far as I know it's a license thing. For wireless they have to pay a fee to Google (I think I read something like 500 USD but no guarantee for the number). You can get an wired2wireless adapter for less than 50 bucks, so I personally don't see it as an issue.
