First, wrong sub.
That said, the bluetooth option and Belana sound even if you get working will have delay and won't sync with the picture.
I'd keep trying to get the sound output working on the TV. What you have should work up to 5.1. Check the output formats on the TV.
Optical can output 5.1 in Dolby Digital or DTS audio, or 2.0 in Linear PCM (LPCM). You won't get 7.1
Hi, I didn't know in which sub to post my question, but I've seen some "baleasound" threads here, so i gave it a try... Can you reccomend some sub?
Also, I have also found out about 7.1 not being compatible with optical... But the problem is it doesn't work at all.
But that would steer away from this thread question domain...
I think you need to consider my last point more. That device is not a standalone converter. You'll need to run it through a computer.
This is more the type you need. Even then, you'll need to convert the 3.5mm to RCA connections, although many Logitech speakers came with those adapters.
