Time and again, America’s enemies have learnt that if you threaten the American people, our soldiers are coming for you. Your defeat will be certain. Your demise will be final and your downfall will be total and complete.

Unless you're the Taliban. Or North Vietnam. Or North Korea. But hey, we got Saddam right? And that turned out super swell...

Although, thinking about it a bit more, I'm not sure those last 3 qualify as having threatened the American people, so maybe the statement doesn't apply in those cases.
