Idk why but wirtz just doesn’t seem to click with this Germany team, he doesn’t get to show his strengths at all

Maybe it has to do with sharing the middle of the pitch space with Musiala? At Leverkusen, he is the guy for that space and all the other players know how to move to accomodate his vision.

He has also only played a handful of games with the NT after his injury comeback since March. So he also probably just needs more time to gel, especially since a new coach is in charge
