Down 2-1 in a five game series vs. the Aces, the Liberty had a huge chance to win a ring after a series of Aces injuries. In a one point loss, Stewart made just 3 of 17 shots from the field. Are there any comparable examples from history?

Ewing was abysmal for most of the 94 finals. He needs to get way more criticism that he's received by Knicks fans and fans in general. It's not fair Starks gets all the criticism. And then the missed layup by Ewing too in 95. He was not clutch.

Eh I think people hate too much, he was really good that series outside of a single blown lay up and while he played terribly on offense in 94 his defense was great. 4 blks and 1.3 steals with 13 rebounds is about as good as you can ask for. His team had a shot too even if he played below expectation.

I think I don’t give Ewing as much shit because the Knicks took so long to get good talent around him. He was 23 when he was drafted. Knicks finally put the talent around him at age 32 and 33, not exactly prime big man years. Too me it kinda makes sense how he came up short considering he was already older and hobbled by injuries during his deepest runs.

Also. The Bad Boy Pistons and Jordan’s Bulls. In between losing to Jordan’s Bulls 4 out of 5 years, they also dropped the 1990 ECSF to a repeating Pistons team.
