Night shift is almost always easier. Especially as a security guard in a quiet town where nothing ever happens and your post is just a crumbling building that you really just have to keep teenagers away from that might try to hang out in it, because they won't think about the danger of the building collapsing on them.
The house is almost never actually haunted.
I maintain that you should have been watching horror movies the whole time.
That's one of my least favorite things about being a Night Shift worker myself.
Nothing's ever fucking haunted. I wanted to deal with ghosts!
As somebody that worked nights as a caregiver, it is not easier at all, what are you smoking? During the day, the clients were largely sane, but once the sun goes down, you better hold on to your hat.
