I'm a musician, and I also do a lot of silent sitting meditation. My hearing is pretty good and I am pretty sensitive to ticking -- for example my dad installed a cheap amazon wall clock in the kitchen of his house, and I can hear it when I am 30 feet away. Does anyone with some knowledge think this will be an issue?

Edit: I just remembered I had a Timex Weekender, which are notoriously loud, and I did in fact have to get rid of it.

I have a Khaki Field Auto (H10 movement) and it's my most quiet auto. I can hear ticking if it's touching my ear if there's no other sound nearby. I can still just barely hear it when it's a 1/2" away. By the time I move it 1" from my ear canal I can no longer hear it.
