At this point, you gotta think about the best strategy is purposefully fouling Curry anytime he's got the chance for game winning 3. Probably a better chance he misses a free throw than one of these.

Last season there was a game against the Wolves (I’m almost positive) where that was actually their plan but it took them blatantly and very clearly on purpose fouling him 3 different times to the point where one of the Wolves’ players threw their hands up in an “HELLO?!” Kind of way and they still just never called it. Eventually resulted in the game going to overtime and the Wolves ultimately winning, but I’ll never forget that game because 1. How “only Steph” of a moment it was and 2. Because it taught me that because of how warped refs’ whistles are when it comes to Steph, auto fouling Steph at the end of a game can’t be a team’s strategy because there’s absolutely a higher chance it won’t be called than it will be called.
