"Made in China" and "Made by China" are different.
Used phones are good and cheap. Profit because other people are greedy.
Most phones "work well". That's not a reason to choose a bad phone.
The consumer protections are the same for all phones. That's not a difference between different companies.
This is just you saying you don't care about these privacy issues. But you made this post???
You're confused about what you want and think Huawei is a good deal. You are being unnecessarily cheap.
Be more mad that you bought a garbage Chinese phone then, lol
It's actually been a very good Chinese phone that has outlasted the last 3 Samsungs of my brother and mother. But I think I still reserve the right to be annoyed by invasive messaging that shouldn't be on the device as sold in my country.
Do you not know how to buy used phones? You can get a Samsung Galaxy S21 for under $500 AUD right now:

There are plenty of phones under $500, you just chose a bad one:

Cool. Buy me one.
Why can't you just sell your Huawei? You said it's a good phone around $500. I'm sure you'll get a good price... oh right.
