Apparently, they can run into issues such as the chrono hands falling out of alignment during routine battery changes and are a pain in the ass to fix. I'd rather just wear a regular quartz chrono to avoid that risk, losing the low-maintenance nature of quartz isn't worth have a hand that ticks multiple times a second.
