How fun would it be to have a city owned team? Residents get to vote on a team owner and GM? All profits from the team get sent back to the city? All the players and team staff are technically city employees.
Isn't college football a great example of how this doesn't work out?
Not at all? Players don’t own the NCAA or individual schools.
