I know nothing about watches. Nothing. I have an Apple Watch but am interested in picking up something that I can wear in professional settings. I work in tech sales. Rolex’s are common in my industry but they scream douchebag to me. I want something that is well made and that will last. I don’t know watch brands but I’m hoping for something that is nice, will compliment a tailored suit or a blazer OR a black tshirt. And I want a brand that doesn’t scream that I’m trying too hard. TIA.

I’m in tech sales too. You should learn more about watches. They’re near conversion starters with coworkers and customers. This is my Seiko SRPG33. You can dress it up or dress it down depending on strap choice.

Nice one! I'm in tech sales too, relatively new to it. My colleague told me that 'to some meetings, you just have to wear a Rolex.' I got myself a CasiOak to have a laugh with him.

They’d have to start paying me a lot more if I need to wear a Rolex to some meetings. I’m only 3 years into this tech sales career. Rolex is still a ways out of my pay bracket. The Casioak will be a good laugh and it’s a great outdoors watch too.
