I have always found it strange how having kids is considered a milestone to achieve in life. I don't get it.

I mean, your life after and before cannot be compared, so it is a milestone

I always found it strange how <insert random thing I don't care about here> is considered a milestone to achieve in life. I don't get it.

Fair - but you get what I mean? Society, and I feel like you see this in TV/movies a lot, but they put some kind of halo on "being a parent". It's significant for sure, but it's a huge responsibility. Out of all the things people could be doing, I just don't get it. It can be rewarding I'm sure, but in these times, I don't get it. Idk I just see it a irresponsible with how everything is rn. Just my take...
