The Giannis that just today signed a 3 year extension to stay in Milwaukee? Or a different Giannis

I mean dudes sign contracts and ask for trades near immediately not infrequently

[–] Unlucky-Plan-98@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

You think that’s happening here

Do contacts really matter? If this Dame situation went side ways, would anyone be shocked if he asked for a trade?

What matters is how happy your star is. Signing a supermax or extension means nothing considering the number of all NBA players who been traded the last 4 years after signing up. KD literally demanded a trade like 6 months after extension.

That being said, Bucks did the right thing by going above and beyond for Giannis, and yet there is no guarantee

Even though the news came out today let's all assume Bill still thinks this

tbf, a new deal hasn't stopped literally anybody the last 5 years asking out immediately

The Giannis that made the corny “a lot of fucking money” comment just to sign a couple weeks later

After the last couple of years, does anyone think a big name player signing a contract means the player is committed to the team? They are clearly able to force themselves off a team.
