Because that's not the way the USA breaks countries. They economically tie them off then "save" the "failed state". This is done under the guise of threats like WMDs or fentanyl, ignoring that the majority of fentanyl on US streets is stolen from US hospitals.
The user said there was a threat of invasion. There was not.
