Ben Simmons said this year will be different — he’s healthy and comfortable again.

In his 2023-24' reg season debut, he had 2 pts on 1/4 shooting, 8 rebs, 6 asts and 1 blk in the 1st half. He had 2 on 1/2 shooting, 2 rebs, 3 asts in the 2nd half. He only played for 2 minutes in the 4th quarter.

Nets lost the game 113-114.

Imagine any other point guard in the league (outside the top 3-4 super stars like Steph who are next level) put up these numbers game 1. People would lose their mind and say if he can just average 10-12 per game and put up the occasional 20+ point game, and we give him the right pieces he’ll win us championships. But hey it’s Ben Simmons, and haters love to hate
