Ah yes, a dogmatic conservative religion and the progressive critics of capitalist economic theories; a natural union and group of people that definitely exists...

To be fair, the origins of labor value and other socialist theories are usually traced back to Islamic scholar Ibn Khaldun.

But Netanyahu simply uses words conservatives do not like

I mean...

Islam is not at all progressive on gender stuff, but otherwise this blend of politics is surprisingly coherent.

I mean Christian socialism is a thing so yeah that too I guess. Not that what Netanyahu is saying makes any sense, but technically Islamist-Marxist alliances do exist and have existed throughout history.

The more recent fundamentalism is a reaction due to western imperialism and neocolonialism, if I recall correctly

There are also Biblical connections to socialism such as Engels who wanted to implement Christian values without the religious aspect.

Abrahamic religions are all pretty economically left. The major difference is social stuff and also many first-world Christians have turned from loving thy neighbour to Spanish inquisition
