To be honest I don't think I fully understand what's attempted to be sold here and how that has something to do with self hosting? Could you please enrich your post with a bit more information?
Not Op, but it's for 'self-hosting' on-premises from a company's point of view. At a rumored $500K a pop, it's not really targeted at those sticking a Linux box under a desk.
