While exacerbating the biggest employer in her industry. Right.

Isn't that what she's doing anyway?

Yes, so it comes with personal consequences.

I was talking about her beef with Disney over them cancelling her show. She's already suffered those consequences. This doesn't change that. It just gets people talking about her again.

Yes, I get that. There’s having a disagreement and there’s burning bridges to never work together ever again. It’s likely now the latter. So it is detrimental to her personally, even knowing the previous disagreement. She’s not Scarlett johannsen who can walk away and still be in demand from other studios. It’s a risk for her to speak out. I don’t think what you are saying about virtue signalling to fans is acccurate. She is likely to have just as many fans annoyed by her involvement.

I think you're missing the fundamental point that I'm making. Her "burning bridges" with Disney doesn't matter. Why would they care about that? Her blowing up her own career isn't going to impact their decisions at all.

How would her taking a stand here, convince Disney to reinstate Kimmel's show...or in any way change their current course? She has no leverage.

The only way to accomplish anything, is if Disney has something to lose.

Well, I’ve seen reports that Disney are looking at reinstating Kimmel due to the backlash against them. So, what she is promoting is working.

If she is actively campaigning against them and encouraging consumers to leave them, they won’t be hiring her again.

Despite their previous disagreement, up to this point, if they thought having she hulk return would make them money, they’d do it. They don’t have feelings, they have lawyers. They now won’t touch her as that would send the wrong message to others.
