I'm so glad pal world exists. It completely shows how lazy Pokémon has become.
It's so stupid too. Imagine if there was this fight when Doom came out suing Duke Nukem 3D and Quake. The industry thrives on iteration.
Not to invalidate your point, but Doom and Quake were both made by id software
Man, how did I not know that? I was mostly thinking of the Duke Nukem line: "I ain't afraid of no Quake" when coming up with games that clearly use the same mechanics but didn't go around suing each other. And Duke Nukem 3D was obviously based on the FPS games that came before.
