I've done some digging and assuming they are talking about the states this is flat out not true.

Most common by far is Cardiovascular conditions then things like infection and hemorrhaging.

Anyone have a source that shows gun deaths being that high? I find it concerning if blatant miss info gets this many up votes without anyone fact checking

that's a great question.

unfortunately the current administration has destroyed that information and fired anyone who knew it.
