Are OpenShot and/or Shotcut good video editors? (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

Apologies if this sounds silly but i was wondering if openshot or shotcut are good video editors especially for someone starting out on video editing for the first time, the type of videos i might plan on making is either general gaming videos or YTPs (hopefully y'all know what that is).

I have also considered kdenlive and davinci resolve aswell (i will not discuss davinci since that ain't open source).

Out of curiosity, i was also wondering y'alls thoughts on shotcut or openshot (and probably kdenlive).

Haven't used shotcut or openshot but can recommend kdenlive, it has alot of features but I find it a bit clunky sometimes to work with.

For me when I was working on a large project it crashed once and the autorecover worked, although I still manually save since I'm paranoid.
