Hi all

I've an opportunity to pick up the Orient President Gen 1 baton hands blue dial, in the condition as per the pic, for about USD200. No box or papers.

Based on the pics I would need to put in a new crystal, and to have the hour and minute hand cleaned.

Just wondering what people's thoughts on whether this is a good purchase considering the work to be done?

The new crystal is a few dollars, installing one is about 4 minutes. Cleaning hands 25 seconds. You should be able to get all of this done for $80 even if you are getting ripped off

(If that is rust on the hands there's nothing you can do, it's plated metal you can't sand it down)
