The widely held assumption that Israel will actually abide by this ceasefire has me dumbfounded.

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath. Maybe they will leave Gaza alone for a bit and focus on the west Bank?

The focus was always about the west bank that's why zionists keep calling it judea and sumeria. Even if there is a thriving gaza it would be to not allow any resistance coming from gaza in support of westbankers
