Hi guys, the question is simple, I am trying to learn from your mistakes because I don't have money to make my own.
And I thought we could share some stories too.

I had the same experiences as you with the Oris but I only gave it three or four weeks before I knew that the romance was over.

The worst part about it was I must have tried it on six or seven times at the AD before pulling the trigger. Even when you think you're sure, you're not.

In reverse, I tried on the Seiko speed timer over 10 times and was convinced that I could never love it because of the solar dials. And then one drunken evening I pulled the trigger and the only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. Such a fabulous size.
